Himfr Analyzes China’s CNC Machine Tool Market Situation

China’s output growth of CNC machine tools has further increased. About the Job

OPERATOR URGENTLY REQUIRED IN SOUTH DEVON FOR INITIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT, WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF PERMANENT POSITION DEPENDING ON PERFORMANCE AND WORKFLOW

PURPOSE OF JOB

To operate and inspect work from any of 3 or more machines (including at least one CNC operation) for the manufacture of components

1. Clean and load components in fixture using correct datum faces. Using appropriate SOP,s and Company procedures Operate machine. When cycle complete, remove and inspect part. Make appropriate adjustments to tooling, coolant flow etc. Liaise with Inspection to check first off before starting full batch run. Use hand tools to debur work.

2. Visually Inspect components and measure to ensure compliance with specification. Use optical, manual, electronic, digital gauges and tooling as supplied. Calibrate and operate micro PCRs (programmed measurement instruments) – in accordance with planning requirements. Carry out inspections on other operators’ work – especially those not qualified to inspect own work .eg TR Stamp Training.

3. Complete manual and PC based production records, recording components completed and identifying those not conforming to specification on “Non-conformance Notes”. Stamp “OK” or enter into PLMC. Segregate non-conforming parts. Take completed batch to next operation.

4. Assist with training within known competence.

5. Maintain work area in clean and safe condition. Complete machine check sheets. Report any problems to cell Supervision, cell GDO and/or Maintenance (Q4).

6. Maintain machines in a running condition by changing consumables as required. Eg cutters, grinding wheels and electrodes. (This excludes some operations on older machine types specifically, radial Grinding, Blanchard and Isocut EDM which is of a higher skill level)

7. Other duties as required compatible with this job and the employee’s individual skills at the direction of the supervisor/manager.

With the exclusive TFT LCD Color Screen, it is possible to execute Solid 3D program simulations right at the Digital Readout. In addition, standard features include a host of cycles such as a Pocket cycle, Bolt-hole cycle, Linear hole & Matrix cycles. Additional productivity features include part centering, Plane & Angle operator selection, 20 offsets and tool radius compensation, plus much more.

Standard features of the 40i Turning system include Turning & Taper cycles that utilize a graphical interface with conversational type data entry for extreme simplicity & programming ease. In addition, the 40i T now allows for the capability of Threading. Additional productivity features include 15 tool offsets, diameter/radius programming & even axes coupling plus additional standard features such as fine/course resolution selection, inch/metric programming, absolute/incremental selection & tool nose radius compensation.

The Innova 40i series of Digital Readouts can be customized by parameter for Milling, Boring, Turning, Grinding or General Purpose applications. Intuitive graphic help screens are utilized for each application to ensure easy operation.
